The Role: Designing the Human Connection

Are you obsessed with why a button feels “clickable” or why some apps just feel like magic? At XpandOps, we believe that functional software should also be beautiful. We are looking for a fresh, creative, and detail-oriented Junior UX/UI Designer to help us shape the next generation of our digital ecosystem.

In this role, you won’t just be “making things look pretty.” You’ll be diving into user psychology, sketching wireframes, and building interactive prototypes that solve real-world problems. You’ll work directly with our senior design leads and engineering teams to turn complex ideas into elegant, user-centric interfaces.

What You’ll Do

• Visualize Concepts: Transform rough ideas and requirements into wireframes, storyboards, and high-fidelity mockups.
• User-Centric Design: Assist in conducting user research and usability testing to understand our audience’s pain points and triumphs.
• Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes (Figma is our second home) to demonstrate flow and functionality before they go to dev.
• Maintain the System: Contribute to and help manage our global Design System, ensuring consistency across every pixel of our platform.
• Collaborative Iteration: Take feedback like a pro. You’ll iterate on designs based on data, peer reviews, and client needs.

What You Bring

• The Portfolio: A link to your work is a must. We want to see your process—show us your sketches, your “failed” versions, and your final polished gems.
• Design Fundamentals: A solid grasp of typography, color theory, grid systems, and responsive design.
• Tool Mastery: Proficiency in Figma (required), and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
• Empathy: An innate ability to put yourself in the user’s shoes. You design for them, not for your ego.
• Eagerness to Grow: You’re a sponge for feedback and constantly stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends and UX methodologies.
