What You’ll Do

• Revenue Management: Take charge of the invoicing cycle, ensuring every client bill is accurate, timely, and delivered with professional flair.
• Cash Application: Match incoming payments (wire transfers, CC, ACH) to open invoices like a pro, keeping our aging reports clean and tidy.
• Client Diplomacy: Handle inquiries regarding billing discrepancies with a customer-first mindset, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
• Month-End Magic: Support the senior finance team during month-end closing by preparing AR reconciliations and aging analysis.
• Process Innovation: Help us automate! We love efficiency, and you’ll have a seat at the table to suggest ways to make our billing tech stack even better.

What You Bring

• The Foundation: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (Recent grads with internship experience are highly encouraged to apply!)
• Number Cruncher: High proficiency in Excel (if you love VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, you’re our person).
• Attention to Detail: You’re the type of person who spots a misplaced decimal point from a mile away.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills. You can explain a billing statement clearly and kindly.
• Tools of the Trade: Familiarity with accounting software (NetSuite, Xero, or QuickBooks) is a big plus, but we’re happy to train the right person.
